$10,000,000 Worth County School District GO Bonds

On April 24, 2008, Jon Pannell and Jim Pannell served as bond counsel for the Worth County School District on the issuance of its $10,000,000 Worth County School District General Obligation Bonds, Series 2008. The Bonds will be used by the School District to construct a new middle school in Worth County.

Calhoun Water & Sewer Bonds

The City of Calhoun issued its $4,755,000 City of Calhoun Water and Sewerage Revenue Bonds, Series 2008, on April 15, 2008. Jim Pannell and Jon Pannell served as bond counsel to the City in the transaction. The proceeds of the bonds will be used to redeem outstanding GEFA loans and to make capital improvements to the water and sewerage system.

Grady County GOST Bonds

On April 15, 2008, Grady County issued $5 million in general obligation sales tax bonds. Jon Pannell acted as bond counsel on the transaction. The bonds will be used by Grady County for capital improvement projects approved by the voters of Grady County in a Special Local Option Sales Tax election.

Saint Andrews School

The Savannah Economic Development Authority issued $5,725,000 in revenue bonds on bahalf of Saint Andrews School on April 8, 2008. Tom Gray and Jon Pannell acted as bond counsel, issuers counsel, and underwriters counsel on the transaction. The proceeds of the bonds will be used by Saint Andrews to construct a new math and science building, an early childhood center, and a new fieldhouse at the school located on Wilmington Island in Savannah, Georgia.
