The Savannah Economic Development Authority issued $5,725,000 in revenue bonds on bahalf of Saint Andrews School on April 8, 2008. Tom Gray and Jon Pannell acted as bond counsel, issuers counsel, and underwriters counsel on the transaction. The proceeds of the bonds will be used by Saint Andrews to construct a new math and science building, an early childhood center, and a new fieldhouse at the school located on Wilmington Island in Savannah, Georgia.

On March 20, 2008, the Lamar County School District issued $12 million in general obligation bonds. Jon Pannell and Jim Pannell served as both Bond Counsel and Underwriter’s Counsel on the transaction. The proceeds of the bonds will be used by the School District to build a new auditorium, new construction and renovations to the football stadium, track facility, and Lamar County Comprehensive High School gymnasium, and for technology and security upgrades throughout the school system. On January 18, 2008, Jim Pannell and Jon Pannell acted as bond counsel for the Ware County School District in the issuance of $10,000,000 of General Obligation Sales Tax Bonds. The proceeds from the bond offering will be used by the School District for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, and equipping capital outlay projects at all schools in the County, including specifically major projects at Ware County High School, DAFFODIL Pre-School Center, Ware County School of Agricultural, Forestry, and Environmental Sciences, Waycross Middle School, and Ware County Middle School.
